Dr. Cléo Rogatko was born in São Paulo, Brazil and raised in Newtown, Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Following a rotating internship, she completed a surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center, a surgical clinical fellowship at Oregon State University, and a specialty internship in Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. She completed a surgical residency at New England Animal Medical Center in Massachusetts and WestVet in Idaho. She has been fortunate to work with a wide variety of surgeons and other specialists and enjoys the collaborative aspect of practicing specialty medicine to ensure the best possible care for her patients.
Dr Rogatko performs both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and interventional radiology. She has lectured at national orthopedic and interventional radiology conferences and enjoys teaching and clinical research.
Outside of work, Dr. Rogatko loves to travel, hike, run, raft, eat desserts, and spend time with family and friends. She lives in Springfield, VA with two large cats and one small dog.
