Jessie has loved helping animals since a very young age. Her passion became her career in 2011, when she graduated from Blue Ridge Community College’s Veterinary Technology program. Jessie worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in general practice for five years, where she became interested in canine rehabilitation.
Jessie came to work for Veterinary Surgical Centers Rehabilitation in January of 2016. During this time, she completed the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine’s Canine Rehabilitation Program. In December of 2016, she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. Her special interests include low-stress veterinary visits, neurological rehabilitation, conditioning for athletic and working dogs, and pain management.
Jessie resides in Northern Virginia with her dogs Neena and Ryuk, and cat Reeses. In her free time, she enjoys competing in sports with her dogs, hiking, birding, and gardening.
